Hi there! My name is Robin, and my family and I have recently moved into our dream home. We have a lot of work to do to get settled and make it feel like our own, and I thought this would be a great way to journal the process.
I come from a family of DIYers! For as long as I can remember growing up, there was always a project in process or a room being redone, and it seems nothing changed as I ventured out on my own. I bought my first home in my late twenties and quickly began the renovation process completely redoing the entire house before selling it. Since then, I have shied away from doing such a large project, but that won’t stop me from turning my home into something I dream of.
I have an incredible husband, Kyle, and 2 boys, Douglas (10) and Reed (7). We spent the last few years living abroad in Bangkok, Thailand and moved back to the States in 2015. Spending so many years in a high-rise rental apartment has got me itching for some decorating and house projects, and oh boy, did I find the most amazing home to do it in! We moved into a 95-year-old Tudor-style home with so much personality. Our home is in great shape for its age, but it needs a lot of updating, and I am so up for the task!
