This cobalt blue and blush pink spring tablescape will give you lots of inspiration to get your dining room ready for your spring entertaining or Easter brunch.

I can’t believe it’s almost March! We’ve had a few days of unseasonably warm weather, and now I’m just itching for spring more than I think I ever have. I can’t wait for days to start getting longer and to shed my heavy winter coat. Luckily for me, we have a lot of entertaining to do this spring, giving me an excuse to put together a blue and pink spring tablescape so that I can start feeling like spring is already here. Several of my blogger friends are also sharing their spring home decor inspiration in a Spring Fling Blog Hop, so make sure to check the end of this post for the links to their posts!

My inspiration for this room started when I came across this cobalt blue tablecloth at Homegoods. I love its bright color and pairing it with blush pink is one of my favorite color combinations.
I need to keep our dining room table fairly simple because all of the decorations get cleared off regularly. My kids use this area to build Legos on a daily basis, and I don’t want to spend a lot of time removing everything from the table, then set it back up again when we are entertaining. And, this spring we will be hosting an Easter brunch, my oldest son’s first communion, and Mother’s Day. So, our dining room will get lots of use, and my spring decor will need to be brought back out often.

I am using mismatched chargers, because, well, I didn’t have enough of one type for all the place settings. I was bummed that I didn’t have 6 of either of my white chargers, but I do like the variation. One charger is carved wood and the other is whitewashed bamboo.
The centerpiece is a galvanized metal tray that is easy to remove when the kids play at the table. In the tray is a white ceramic water pitcher filled with grocery store flowers and a small white tray with bird nests and eggs.
