Are you ready for Halloween?
Leading up to the holiday, I have lots of fun decorating and checking out everyone else’s decorations. I enjoy seeing all the crazy outdoor Halloween decorations, like life size posable skeletons and the big inflatable cats and ghosts. However, the Halloween skeleton decorations are my favorite. Plus, there are so many ways to utilize them. Therefore, I figured why not gather up a bunch of creative ways to use skeleton decorations for Halloween.
What are your favorite things about Halloween?
Aside from all the awesome Halloween decorations, I enjoy any opportunity to eat candy. My boys usually hit it big trick or treating. While we donate most of the candy, I definitely still take a few pieces here and there. With trick or treating, comes my other favorite part of Halloween, all the amazing Halloween costumes! I love seeing all the creative costumes that stroll through my neighborhood, especially the adorable younger trick or treaters. Also, I love diffusing my Trick or Treat essential oil blend to add some wonderful fall aroma to my home. What are some of your favorite things about Halloween…. maybe it’s the haunted houses or spooky movies… I’d love to know!
Outdoor Halloween Skeleton Decorations
Life Size Posable Outdoor Skeleton Decorations
For a simple, yet spooky outdoor Halloween display, use fake skeletons to create a faux graveyard. You could even throw in a skeleton dog or some animal skulls. The hand sticking out of the ground is a nice touch.
The other day my son and I drove by a life size skeleton that was climbing a tree. My son suggested there should be a dog displayed there as well because a dog would be chasing the bones. I thought that was a creative idea and it’s why I love decorating with my boys.
